Settling in Sunnier Climes

Ever since I've moved to Tripoli my spirits have lifted and my heart's begun to sing! It's not really what I was expecting, since Libya is going through quite a transition at the moment, making the country a little unstable(to say the least!). However chaotic the country is, there are always great ways to entertain oneself. I've even slowly started removing myself from social media and spending more time getting creative!
We're in the process of finding some printing companies so work can resume. I'm so excited to show you some new prints I've been working on inspired by my surroundings. Those will be posted once I've set up the studio. I can't express how happy I am here, and I hope my work reflects that, and can be shared! Here are a few pictures of Tripoli, my new home.

  2. Hi Amira, I have just found your blog. My family and I lived in Tripoli as expats for a number of years and we miss our life there and the people so much. Libya is such a place for inspiring creativity. Will be happily following your blog for snippets of the city and people we fell in love with. Emma
