La Dolce Vita

Since I'm on a role with posting, I thought I'd keep it going. Perhaps I can make time for this blog after all! So I've noticed many of you get excited to see glimpses of  Tripoli. I then remembered that I had these shots taken around mid-November hidden away. It had just opened at the time and I was eager to pop in. La Dolce Vita is a Gelato place with a Pizzaria on the opposite side. After coming for a taste I asked if they'd like to book in for a little photography session, to which they agreed! (Yay for me).

I'm so thrilled to see spots like this popping up around the city! Makes me feel incredibly hopeful for the future, as it gives our young souls places to go. There's a few that I'm waiting for to open and hoping Max Canon (my trusted camera) can come along too! There's so many creative people here looking to make this country a hip and happening place. It's been a fun experience watching it happen. I'm not completely oblivious to the chaotic situation we have going on, but I'm here mainly to share the good bits! The bits no one else is talking about.

I would love to do a post sharing my favourite places to get a bite to eat. Maybe I'd need an enthusiastic partner willing to head out on a project like this. Let me know if you'd be interested!

Review: **** 4/5 I really enjoyed the Gelato and Pizza. Loved the Italian vibe and superb customer service! My only criticisms is there were no cone options (for a zero waste approach), also opens too late in the day.

I think it's a great idea, definitely show us more of Libya. There's still so much I haven't seen (and eaten)!

    2. Mama Mia....the place looks delicious! Tonights pizza should be struck off the menu. The photography is stunningly edible. I can't wait to come over and try this place out :p

    1. Hi Nassim, it has the direction on their Facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/DV.Tripoli/

I don't think there's anywhere to sit, but they have a few stands in the back corner.
