Settle Down

It wasn't so long ago I did a home tour in Libya, and now here we are! Lots has changed, but my style has certainly not. The familiar white interior will live on, until I get bored of it that is! So this post is to give you an idea of what I'm working with, and what my plans are for this space. You may not know this, but throughout the past 2016 I'd been watching a substantial amount of tiny home video's and following tiny home pages on Instagram. @Countyroadliving anyone? Something about the freedom of having everything you need in a tight neat space excites me. Basically, it's minimalism on a whole new level haha! I guess this small space was somewhat of an answer to my prayers. Thank you God.

Here's what up! Our home is like any other modern apartment. It's boxy. Well, me and boxy don't get on. If there's something I can't stand, it's the clinical look. White can be, and is, very versatile. Sadly,  with sharp corners and lack of detail it can look futuristic and far too modern for my taste. Our kitchen obviously lacks character, which isn't the worst problem to have (you never saw the previous one for a reason haha). I'm just using my creativity to add softness, and touches of earthiness. These images still don't depict the 'ideal' look yet, as I've crammed things together just for the sake of picturing it. There's still furniture on it's way!

Pinterest Inspiration

Here's a few links to the boards of inspiration I've got going on for our tiny space. Firstly 'navy' made for our bedroom decor, 'neutral' for our living space & kitchen. You can check out 'likes' which I use as a main board of what inspires me right now! Seriously enjoying creating dreamy spaces...

  3. I love your style; it's the perfect mix of modern and "natural" - for a better term. I found your site through your post on the Litterless.co website. It's fascinating to see how others live a similar life around the globe! I look forward to more of your blog entries.
